Oblong folio. Pp [48]. Lavishly illustrated with black & white photography, following title and two pages of paintings in color, on heavy coated paper. Introduction and captions in Norwegian, English and German. Half-cloth over color illustrated textured wraps. Owner ink inscription inside front cover dated Christmas 1910. Ink stamp on cover "Stavanger Canning Factory." Two-inch chip, the size of a US 50-cent piece, at top rear corner (see photo), corners bumped, else Near Fine. Spectacular photography of fjords, glaciers, reindeer and tourist steamships including two-page panoramas. The new Bergen Railway features in several. Published for the Norske Lloyd steamship company based in Kristiaina (Oslo from 1925), which was then expanding into marine and fire insurance. Back cover advertisement for the Norway Tourism office in Berlin. Preserved in a clear archival sleeve with acid-free backing. Seller Inventory # 4889
