Polish edition hardback, 1960, professionally rebound into marbled paper boards quarter-bound in tan leather, the spine with five raised bands, gilt decoration and maroon and green leather gilt title labels. In overall very good used condition with only minor signs of age, handling and storage - boards rubbed to edges. Binding tight and appears almost unread - the original illustrated front cover has been bound-in during the rebinding along with a Polish press-clipping at p133 - â Cywilny Ksiaze Poniatowskiâ by Barbara Felinska. Internally clean, no annotation or inscriptions - book plate to front pastedown from the library of author Bohdan Olgierd Jezewski; text and illustrations bright and clear throughout.
