Very scarce 'Pearl Harbor Day War Bond Certificate' issued by the New York Navy Yard, 1943, to Mr. Conrad L. Bayer, for the purchase an 'Extra War Bond' during the Navy's Pearl Harbor Day Drive, 1943. 8 1/4" x 10 1/2", single-sided, printed in black with light gray vignette of The Purple Heart and a battle scene. This copy in about Very Good condition, perhaps VG-, with an overall good appearance (see photo enlarged) but with minor soiling, a few small closed tears at the edges, and a some small dots to surfaces.
