First edition, folio, viii, 5-812, (8) pp. Frontispiece and 78 of the 80 plates listed at the end, including folding maps of the world and continents but lacking one plate of Tivoli as well as with one of the maps listed twice, plus illustrated with a further 40 plates and maps not listed but engraved in the same style with similar borders and obviously contemporary. Early leaves with some marginal loss and professional repair, some rubbing and light wear to edges. Contemporary tree calf with some loss to the lower cover, recently rebacked.
