Oblong 10 1/2" x 8 5/8", brown cloth decorative stamped binding with titling and illustration in gilt and black to front board and spine, beveled edges, 116 pp. (rectos only). Sixth Edition. A very handsome copy of this scarce Lear title. See photo enlarged. Intricate debossed gilt-and-black titling and iillustration on the front board and spine, in excellent condition with almost no rubbing of the gilt. Overall a Very Good Plus or better condition copy with a sound binding and a near-immaculate interior with only a bit of age-toning at the endpapers. Front endpaper gutter is a bit brittle with a thin fissure about 3" long (hinge itself seems quite sound). Oherwise excellent internally. Externally excellent with only light bumping and rubbing wear to corners and spine ends, and age-toning to text edges. See photo enlarged. VG+/NF. Seller Inventory # 02831
