Navy blue cloth over boards with guilt particulars and two bands to spine and gilt title in debossed compartment with debossed rule to front board. Pages have scattered foxing concentrated at edges, pencil markings to page 186, and closed tear to fore edge of 187; moderate foxing to first few pages. Endpages have stamp to front pastedown, writing to first free endpaper and rear pastedown, and tanning likely from glue at rear endpages. Text block is soiled with light scattered foxing, shelf wear, and top edge sprayed gilt. Boards have shelf wear with bumping and rubbing to extremities. Binding is tight, spine is cocked.
