Green boards with gilt lettering on the spine. Volumes from 1911-1912. Oct 1911 Vol. 5 No 1, Nov 1911 Vol. 5 No 2, Dec 1911 Vol.5 No 3, Jan 1912 Vol.5 No 4, Feb 1912 Vol.5 No 5, March 1912 Vol. 5 No 6. Includes in Vol. 5 No 3 (p295) Charlotte Bronte's "Tale of the Islanders" plus stories by Jack London, E. Phillips Oppenheim and Dorothy Dix, among many others. Letters on the Divorce Law by Thomas Hardy, Ernest Shackleton, Andrew Lang etc in Vol. 5 No 6. Boards are heavily rubbed and thumbed. Spine sunned and showing some heavy wear and tear. Back edge of spine worn through and loose, so too the front cover. Edges and boards bear some discolouration and staining, front, back and spine. Head and tail of spine bumped and heavily worn, so too are corners. Binding is tidy, yet loose and split at the back pastedown. Needs to be handled with some care. Page edges bear even and dark discolouration and some wear and tear. Pages throughout are lightly discoloured and a little stained, although clear and concise. Previous bookseller's stamp on front pastedown. Front free endpaper creased and quite discoloured. Also some foxing throughout, otherwise this book is in fair condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously; they usually present better than they sound. Seller Inventory # REF019
