Boards scuffed and worn, especially at extremities. Light foxing throughout, faint dampstain in lower gutter throughout the text, most pronounced in the first half. Overall, good. One of the major printed accounts of world voyages for its time, and the source book for Melville's BENITO CERINO. Delano recounts his travels between 1790 and 1810, encompassing visits to the Palau, Hawaiian, and Galapagos islands; Manila, Canton, and Macao; New Guinea, Australia, and the East Indies; and Chile and Peru.
