Early Dublin piracy, but with some variations of the two issues described by ESTC & Hazen. pp. x,[3],6-102. Walpole owned a copy of this edition himself, which he had annotated (see Cat. Horace Walpole's Library Vol II, 2490). With an (added) stipple frontispiece portrait dated 1768, vignette of Strawberry Hill not on the title-page but on p.iv, two further full-page copper plate views of Strawberry Hill & an added mounted engraved portrait of John, Lrd. Arch-Bsp. of Canterbury, The title-page with rubrication. Bound in contemporary straight-grain morocco, aeg. with some slight wear at the head of the spine & occasional light rubbing. Vg.
