Pages yellowed but supple. Original red cloth, lettered spines in gilt, patterned end-papers. Slightly curled and faded at corners and ends of spine. Red series style dust-jackets; creases and small tears along edges of both jackets, top inch of jacket spine missing on vol. 1, crease and one inch tear mended with archival tape on back of jacket vol 2.
