American Publishing Co, Hartford, CT, 1876. Hardcover, 477 pp. Noted as 'Issued by Subscription only'. With rust-red boards decorated in Egyptian motifs in black and gold. A record of the author's journey to Egypt, with visits to Alexandria, Cairo, Thebes, Karnak, Suez, various ruins, a harem, a trip down the Nile, etc. This book appears to be identical to Warner's 'My Winter on the Nile', from the same year by the same publisher. It is unclear why this copy has this alternate title. Fair to good condition only with looseness to front board and partial paper cracks at both endpapers, shelf wear and rubbing of extremities, a dent on side of rear board, fraying and short tears at ends of spine.
