Circa 1950. A large book of 1680pp, plus 18pp adverts. Green boards with red spine. Complete with the rare dustjacket, which has a little wear to the edge of the spine. 16 colour plates and nearly 350 b + w llustrations. Some of the illustrations are from earlier editions, but some, such as the modern bedroom and bathroom and the cooker and refridgerator have been updated for this edition. Spots of foxing to the foredge, otherwsie internally clean. Sections on Household Work, Etiquette.
