New and enlarged edition. An early printing of John Muir's first published book and one of my personal favorites. In tan pictorial cloth in green and gilt type and design motif and gilt to top page ends. Light wear at corners and some tiny spots of rubbing to spine ends. Puncture to front spine gutter, small stain and some marks to spine and several very small brown spots to rear board. Front hinge split with mull showing, but still solid binding. A couple flowers/leaves pressed in text block that has left just a little discoloration to a few pages, otherwise clean. Illustrated. Early Printing. Seller Inventory # LPB007688JM
