The author here tells of his experiences in several different cities, including Tangiers and Zeggota. The illustrations depict the vibrant culture of the region, showing the traditional clothing, markets, pack animals (including camels) being loaded up with goods, the density of the population, and how different socio-economic stratas experienced life in Morocco.
