1sr reprint ( December 1929). Hardback in d/w. 106pp. 16 b/w full page tissue-guarded illustrations by LIONEL EDWARDS. (All illustrations and guards present). Titles to tissue guards. Mottled pale brown paper covered boards over green cloth spine. Green titles to front and spine. Bumps to extrems. Scattered spotting to leading edge of text block. Neat contemporary gift insc (1931) to front free endpaper. Some minor scattered foxing throughout. Otherwise clean and tight. In G+ d/w, with darkening to spine and chips to spine extrems with some minor loss. Neat (recent?) internal tape strengthening to spine ends. Price clipped. The price was in the centre of both d/w flaps, therefore there is a neat square cut from both flaps! Overall a perfectly accepteble copy. Seller Inventory # 4618
