Blue boards with black and red titling on decorated white label on front, black titling on small label on spine, brown end papers, illustrated with twelve handsome tipped-in sepia plates with captioned tissue-guards. Corners, edges and spine ends worn, edges and spine lightly sunned, a few damp spots on front board, spine cover has several splits on edges, one inch at upper end attached with tape, cover has light shelf wear, interior of book is clean, binding slightly shaky.
