Heavy tanning and foxing to pages and text block edges. Heavy creasing to pages with tears and some annotations throughout. Frontispiece is missing. Pages are tightly bound causing book to not fully open. Visible markings and staining, text remains legible. Ownership plate to front pastedown, with pen inscription to front endpaper and title page. Brown ink staining to advertisement page. Minor chips to front endpaper. Boards have moderate shelf wear, with rubbing and marking. Moderate bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends, causing leather to peel. Boards are slightly bowed and tanned. Minor loss to spine top edge. Book is slightly warped and forward leaning.
