This VG quality book was published shortly after 1933 (it lists all 10 titles on the jacket) by World Syndicate Publishing Company. It is a format #3 as per Mattson & Davis (World Syndicate, 8-1/8" tall) and has 243 numbered pages of text followed by 12 blank unnumbered pages. This book--one-piece lightly textured medium green boards with black lettering and lines on the spine and front panel--is square, reasonably clean, free of corner bump and edge dings; the head and heel of the spine are bumped without fabric damage; both the bottom and top edges have moderate wear and fabric deterioration. Except for a faint "Not for Sale" stamp on the bottom of the copyright page, the interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and page damage of any type. The hinges are strong and not damaged in any way. The paper is moderately toned--the edges are more heavily toned than the central portion of each page--but is still very flexible and not at all brittle. The VG- quality jacket is clean and has little fading, remarkable because the spine is a solid plum color which fades quite easily; it does have small chips at both the front corners and at the head and heel of the spine, with small edge chips at the top of the front panel. The list on the back of the jacket lists all 10 books in this series, the last of which was published in 1933.
