hardback, folio, French language publication, 13 1/2" x 8 3/4", red cloth binding, lettered gilt to spine, This volume seems to be an amalgamation of the Final Report (not numbered) and a series of Quarterly Reports issued between 1875 and 1882 by The Conseil Federal Suisse. de Ligne du St. Gothard to the regional Governments. The Memoire proper consists of 290 pages, not illustrated, although we believe fifteen plates were issued in relation to this volume. It is our understanding that the whole was combined in an edition of ten volumes. The Reports bound herein comprise Nos. 11, 17, 21, 26, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 37, 38 & 39, all accompanied by relevant plates, maps, plans and illustrations, mostly multi-folding. Three folding maps of the Swiss Railway system as at 1875, 1878 & 1882 are in colours, a large plan of the tunnel also in colours, some plates are loose and all are numbered as per the volume rather than for each Report, We are unable to say if they are entirely as called for but we will respond as best we are able to any enquiries.
