This is the second edition of the work. The first edition was printed in 1837 in Zulku. A later edition was printed in Leipzig. (Source: Bet Eked, see below) Two volumes in one. 8vo. 284 leaves. Rebound in cloth. Modern, light green endpapers. The volume is an encyclopedic work on the rules and principles of rabbinic law. The author was a great Galician Talmud scholar and Kabbalist. He leaned towards Chasidism and was a disciple of ha-Hozeh of Lublin. Minor age wear. In Hebrew. Interior and exterior in very good condition. Bet Eked V.2,p606, item #1875. Seller Inventory # 12451
