Small octavo. (12), 68pp. Modern 3/4 vellum over pebbled cloth with blind-stamped lettering on spine. Decorative initials, head-, and tailpieces. Commentary on the most remarkable diseases, mentioned in the Holy Scriptures' in which the author made use of Joseph Mede's "Doctrine of Demons" and Isaac Newton's "Chronology" to argue that pagan ideas regarding demons had entered Christianity. Text in Latin. Very minor and sporadic foxing throughout. Binding and interior in overall very good condition. Seller Inventory # 30624
