Very Good+ in Good - Pictorial Dust Jacket with original price ($4.95). An important collection of poetry from Henderson (b. 1942), written between 1962 and 1969. He played a prominent role in the Black Arts Movement in the 1960s, was a founding Member of the Society of Umbra, social activist, former instructor at CCNY, Columbia, and UC Berkeley, and the author of a highly-regarded biography of Jimi Hendrix. Blue paper over boards, red cloth backstrip, and white titling on spine. Covers show mild wear, light bumps to corners, mild age toning to edges. Foxing to top of text block. Dust Jacket shows considerable age toning, light edge wear, wear/rubbing at upper corners and top of spine, diagonal taped repair extending from front upper left corner to front center. Interior is clean, crisp, tight, unmarked. 128 pp. Approx. 6" x 8.25". A very nice copy and a wonderful addition to your library. Carefully shipped in secure parcel.
