1st Edn, xi 279 pages, 4 pages advs, illus including 8 in colour from miniatures by the author mounted on black card. Publisher's cloth, titles in white. A vg copy seldom found in vg condition. The author hunted numerous tigers in Assam both on foot and machansi, also leopard, wild boar, bear etc. On one occasion trailing a wounded tiger only to be charged and mauled by the tiger, though he succeeded in killing the tiger he had extensive injuries causing his and arm to be amputated.
