Authorized one volume English language edition hardback in the Collection of British Authors series (Tauchnitz edition vol. 1838), published 1879, with quarter-bound leather and marbelled-paper covered boards and no jacket as published. In overall good to very good used condition with minor signs of handling and storage - rubbing to edges and the leather is scuffed to corners, spine head and tail. Internally clean. Binding tight and appears little read - rear fep torn, no annotations or inscriptions - owner's name in pencil to title page; tanning to page-ends but text clean and clear throughout.
