18 x 11 cm. .316 pages of probably the original demi cuir binding for possible 1888 first edition published in France and Switzerland simultaneously.good line drawing as frontispiece.abstract decorated chapter headings, dark blue leather spine and corners.clear gold lettering on spine.corners and spine at top rubbed/scuffed leather.bottom of spine and bottom corners good. has original owner's sign. neatly written in ink.
