Ex-library, with perforation stamp at bottom right corner of image. Extends from Basra, at the Persian Gulf, to Bulgaria. Published by Near East Relief, an organization formed in 1915 in response to the unfolding Armenian and Assyrian genocides. The map is undated, but would appear to date from before 1920 due to the labeling of Russia, not U. S. S. R. Many towns are identified, more densely in what is now Israel and in the Caucasus region.
