Near-Fine condition hardcover. No dust jacket (probably as issued). Facsimile reprint of two articles that originally appeared in Journal of the Military Service Institution of the U.S. in 1890 enhanced with several maps, illustrations, and an introduction. Book is spotless inside except for two short faint lines of ink on the title page, the longest of which is about 1". Exterior covers spotless. No bumped corners. Slight foxing to outer page edges.
