4to. (178) pp. on handmade paper. Profusely illustrated with b/w photographs, some tipped in on brown paper mounts, many portraits of officials and what look like army and naval officers ("Otomodati"). with Black paper wrapper with gilt illustration of mythological scene to front, bound into crushed velveteen boards with "MEMORIA MCMXXVIII" embossed in gilt to front and spine. There are no clues to the publisher or details of the contents, nor have I been able to find out much online. However, the book comprises many official-looking photographs of, amongst other things, official ceremonies, views of barracks, soldiers dinning in a mess, teams and individuals engaged in various sports (football, wrestling, baseball, swimming, archery, tennis, athletics) possibly for the 1928 Olympic Games.
