First Edition. -----------hardcover, about 8.75w x 10.75h inches, a solid Good to very Good copy, light external wear and rubbing, a bit of foxing to paper, gift inscription on verso of front board, a bit of crinkling to a few pages, colour and b&w photos, unpaginated ( Worldcat states 48 pages which looks about right), some very nice images of a Royal Visit from the time before television and vigourous media coverage, a time when people would stand in farmers fields to wave at the train as it passed, and crowds would flock to every venue knowing it was their only chance to ever see the Monarch (except in movie newsreels maybe), any image directly beside this listing is the actual book and not a generic photo.
