[xii] + 617 pp. Quarter-bound in original purple cloth, gilt, over black and white patterned cloth, in pictorial dust wrapper which is a little chipped at head and tail of spine. Top edges purple. Spine slightly sunned and a few stains on lower edge with some foxing; otherwise a very good copy. 1966 inscription on first free endpaper.
