Previous owner's inscription on first free endpaper. Soil on a few pages and a few chips on last pages. Illustrated, 87pp. All maps present as called for, but several plates seem to be missing, perhaps not included in this later reprint. Binger Hermann was Commissioner of the General Land Office and published this history after noticing the need for a correction on a map regarding the Louisiana Purchase.
