Synopsis: Louie is a buoy in the Bay of St. Louis. Louie had a happy life in the Bay, remaining firmly in position and proudly guiding the variety of boats that passed him every day. This is the story of Louie's trials, tribulations and ultimate triumph on the fateful day when Hurricane Camille tore Louie from his post and devastated the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

About the Author: Allain C. Andry, III is an attorney, banker and humorous, gifted storyteller. He lives with his wife, Judy, in the French Quarter in New Orleans. As a child, he and his family spent their summers on the Gulf Coast. His children and grandchildren have continued that tradition.

Tazewell S. Morton, III, the artist, had a successful career in advertizing and later returned to Auburn, AL to teach graphic design. While there, he designed a school flag that fellow alum, Ken Mattingly, planted in the course of the Apollo 16 flight, making Morton the only U.S. artist with work on the moon. Morton's bright watercolors are appealing, cheerful and enduring.
