'Listen' was published in a total of only 12 issues between 1954 and 1962. This issue includes poems by Gerald Moore, Martin Bell, Geoffrey Hill, Donald Davie, Richard Wilbur, Charles Tomlinson, Stanley Snaith and Edward Thomas. Malcolm Bradbury reviews Marianne Moore's 'Like a Bulwark', James Wright's 'The Green Wall' and 'New Poets of England and America' edited by Donald Hall, Robert Pack and Louis Simpson, under the lettering 'A New Lyricism?'.
