Scarce first edition of this study of the language and history of the Sidama people.The Sidama people are one of the Cushitic speaking people living in the North Eastern Africa in what is today's south Ethiopia. The population is over four million. The Sidama people share cultural, linguistic, and historical ties with the majority of the people in the Horn of Africa. The Sidama language is the language spoken by the Sidama people, 90% of whom do not speak Amharic (the national language), or any other language beyond the Sidama language. Some age-wear on binding with head and tail of spine slightly chipped, 1" closed tear on upper back joint, and spine age-toned. Text in Italian.
