A clean and crisp 4-volume set in the publisher's original green cloth, with gilt title lettering and decoration to the upper covers and spines. All edges gilt. There is some light rubbing to the extremities, and the front and rear endpapers of all 4 volumes are tanned (I have pictured the endpapers of the opening volume); there is also a small blemish on the upper cover of the final volume, near the bottom edge (pictured).
