binding is very weak with several loose pages each at front and back, the only page I can tell missing is the Frontispiece portrait of the General, there is foxing throughout, boards are worn through top and bottom edges, former owners signatures to front free end paper and inside rear board, after all this - it can still be read and is a part of Southern and Civil War history.
