Ex-library copy with usual stamps and markings, including withdrawn stamped on bottom page edges, but no pocket, one has been removed from the back free-endpaper. The DJ is not regular type, but a colorful mylar, attached with aging filament tape that is so old it will not stick anymore; so the cover is loose on book; some soiling , mainly around edges; some denting and scuffing. Cover boards show wear on edge, corners, and spine; tape residue marks on front, back and edges. Tape residue stain shows through two pages, front and back. Page edges show some soiling and yellowing. Text pages have at one time been re-attached to the spine; repair tape shows at fly pages front and back; there is a little soiling of the text pages through out book, but very little. Good readable copy. Mrs. Dixon wrote this book in 1914, this is a revised copy published in 1927. "Billy" Dixon was a buffalo hunter that gained fame in the battle at Adobe Walls, by killing an indian with a shot from his buffalo gun at a distance of about 1000 yards. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Bookseller Inventory # 009270
