A Letter to the Citizens of Dublin. Anonymously written and printed in Dublin by William Johnson. 1749, 20 pp, 7.5 x 4.5 , 16mo, paper pamphlet. In good condition, having either lost its original cover or been disbound from a larger book. Text block is complete, with slight wear to edges and corners of pages. General age-related toning and light foxing to pages. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. An extremely scarce piece that complains about British policy in Ireland at the time. Occasionally attribute to Edmund Burke (1729-1797), an Anglo-Irish writer, Member of Parliament, and frequent critic of British policies towards its colonies.
