Volume I: Heavily sunned spine pulling slightly, bumped and rubbled corners, paper cracking at rear gutter. Color frontis, two folding maps. Subscription page numbers the volume 4 out of 1500 copies. Volume II: Rubbed heavily with light soil and lighter dampstain on boards, bumped corners, cracking and loosening at front gutter. Two folding maps, one map (facing page 100) missing. A few pencil marks in text and a stamped number on the title page, with light dampstains on first few pages. Many plates and illustrations accompany this history of New Mexico detailing everything from Spanish Conquest and Puebloans to agriculture and mining.
