A complete grocer's manual for the retail trade dating from the 1930s. A fascinating look back to former times, but the information given is not all out of date in the methods of production of food. Wines, oils, sugar, tea, fruit, coffee, spices, herbs, sardines and sausages, and many more. Sewn binding which is tight and in fine condition with clean endpapers . A fascinating look back to former times and some nice contemporary advertisements redolent of the period.
