Book Description Racine, WI: Whitman Publishing, 1934. Pictorial Cover. Book Condition: Near Very Good. First Edition. First (and only) printing. The only published Oz story by L. Frank's eldest son, which led to a lawsuit by Reilly & Lee against Whitman over the Oz trademark; after Whitman's defeat it was agreed that the book would not be reprinted. Though not the great rarity many sellers claim, it is one of the scarcest of the Big Little Books today and nice copies are especially hard to come by. A Near Very Good copy of this delicate book. Cover has a 1/3" nick affecting the "Z" of "OZ", text block shows moderate spotting. Bookseller Inventory # 003259

A Very Good copy of this delicate book: the beautiful cover shows only the slightest edge wear. The only notable defect is a light stain tot he top of the text block, leaving the upper margins slightly wavy but the stain does NOT penetrate to the margins. It would be difficult to find better.
