Cheaper edition (second impression), 1934. 192pp. Frontis. Dialect tales and sketches of working class life. VG-/G. Light to moderate overall soil to cloth with colors still bright and titles clear; spine slighty darkened with colors and titles still clear and strong. Mild spine slant with no effect on strong binding. Light soil to lower and fore page edges; moderate to fairly heavy upper edges. Light to moderate uniform toning to clean, unmarked pages. The scarce (in any condition/edition) jacket has lower 4 1/2" of spine missing (cleanly separated along hinges), chip to 5/8" depth upper spine end into title. Chips at all corners and upper front hinge; with light soil primarily along edges. central and flap colors, titles and text clear and strong, though creases acoss lower front panel.
