- Quarto, 10-3/4 inches high by 9-1/8 inches wide. Softcover, bound in pictorial wraps with a color illustration of the 3 little kittens who lost their mittens as mom's head peeks out from the loop of the number 3 on the red printed title. The covers are soiled and its edges darkened with a chip to the bottom corner. The spine is chipped and largely split. A previous owner's name is faintly penciled at the top of the front cover. [12] leaves including the covers, mostly printed on one side of the leaves only, illustrated with 6 bright color plates by Edward P. Cogger. The pages are slightly soiled with a tiny chip to the bottom front corner. Good. The well known chilren's nursery rhyme about the 3 little kittens who lost their mittens with the caption title "The Three Little Kittens and Their Mittens" at the head of the first page.
