The first three volumes (published before the release of the fourth volume) of a four volume set about abstract art. All volumes are foxed and stained on edges, endpapers some pages (in particular first and last few pages, but also occasional pages throughout), some wear around edges of boards and spine. Dustwrappers are rubbed and stained, worn around edges with multiple small tears. Both books and dustwrappers are in good condition. Volume 1: "L'art abstrait de 1910 a 1918." Bottom outside corner of page 175/176 torn off. Foxing more widespread than in other volumes. Volume 2: "L'art abstrait de 1918 a 1938." Volume 3: "L'art abstrait en Europe apres 1945." Dustwrappers are covered with plastic. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously but they usually present better than they sound. **These book weigh over 1kg and will attract additional postage charges for international buyers.
