About this Item
"The Land of Ulitarra" has been published by the Mid-North Coast Regional Office of the department of University Extention. In the first place it is a small contribution to the better understanding of the Aboriginal people who, until recent times, inhabited tribal areas within that region. The descendants of these people, scattered and diminshed, are today seeking a measure of social justice within that society that not only displaced their culturebut, until recently, threatened to destroy forever the memory of it." Soft covers are rubbed and bear some scuffs. Well sunned, discoloured and worn (see image). Corners are well creased and bear discolouration. Page edges discoloured, particularly at head edge. Spots of discolouration on some page edges. Binding a little loose and well handled. Previous owner's inscription on free endpapers, cover and title page, else book is in fair condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously but they usually present better than they sound.
