9 1/8 inches x 12 1/8 in., half-title; title-page with device; publication grant page; contents; list of plates; list of figures. xv, 139 pp., including appendices, index; illustrated with 135 figures (either black & white photographs or drawings) and 7 plates of water colors or drawings of various Helladic periods pottery by E. Gillieron, Jr. (5 are in color), and a fold-out plan of the excavations site by W. B. Dinsmoor & Dr. A. K. Orlandos. The seven plates show some tan spotting to the front margins. Light brown paper over boards with printed paper title labels on the spine and front cover. The spine ends show wear, chipping away of the paper to the upper spine, some wear to the cover edges. This is a very fragile type of binding. This copy belonged to Cleveland, Ohio based book collector, William G. Mather (1857-1951), with his bookplate on the front paste-down endpaper; he was associated with the Cleveland Museum of Art. Scarce book. Weight: 2 1/2 lbs. Seller Inventory # M-145
