Small 8vo. Hardcover. Pp. 36. In very good condition; a concertina of 36 hand-coloured illustrations of various English monarchs and royals. Cloth binding with gilt title and decoration on cover. Boards have small scuffs and stains, with some fading to the spine. Corners lightly bumped and rubbing at the spine ends. Cracking along the end-paper but the book is firm and pages fold out without risk of becoming loose. Pages themselves are clean with light foxing. Small tear on the bottom corner of the first page (William). A crease running down the fifth page (Henry 2), the fourteenth page (Henry 5), the twenty-third page (Elizabeth) and crease down the thirty-second page (George 2). Pencil annotations on twenty-sixth page (Cromwell). Though the book isn't dated, resources suggest 1845. Seller Inventory # 036626
