This is a full scale replica of the first impression of the Original 1611 King James Bible. It is number 551 of an exclusive, limited edition of only 1611 copies. This exceptionally fine item was printed by offset lithography. The custom watermark laid paper was specially made for this commemorative issue by Fox River Paper Mill to closely match the original hand made paper. The massive genuine leather binding is a faithful replica of an original binding. The coat of arms on the cover is that of King James I. This replica edition is one of the finest ever produced. It was crafted in 2003 and all 1611 copies completely sold out by 2008. Note: The King James Bible is the most printed book in the history of the world. Here is what it looked like in its original form. Any so-called 1611 King James Version you by today at the local Christian Bookstore is absolutely NOT the 1611. It is the 1769 revision.
