Printed in an edition limited to 255 large paper copies of which this is numbered 145., discolouration to the parchment and thus good only, the binding remains tight, foxing to the photogravure frontis portrait, bookplate of a previous owner on the front pastedown, the body of the text is unmarked, ten colour plates, numerous b&w plates and illustrations, xxx + 380pp. A heavy volume which may, if ordered from outside the United Kingdom, attract a request for additional postage.
