The Parsons, the largest, claim the two rivers that fall from the snow-capped peaks of Mt. Grace. They live and fish from the banks. The Finchcans choose the sprawling meadows and become obsessed with learning to fly. The rock quarries that line the foothills become the home of the Dolomites. They are the stonemasons and master carvers. The fourth and smallest clan is the Mufkins. They live in tree houses in the forest, fashion wood instruments, invent music and write songs. After spending his entire life trying to unite the clans of Toeple, King Masai concocts one final, ingenious scheme. The following morning, the Queen announces that the King is dead. In the center of the courtyard is a simple treasure box. Carved in its top are the words, "Reserved For The Worthy.". Bookseller Inventory #
